Yan Zhong

I am a second-year CS theory Ph.D. student at Johns hopkins University, where I am very fortunate to be advised by Prof. Xin Li.

I am broadly interested in theoretical computer science (TCS) with a focus on Complexity theory.

Previously, I was an undergraduate studying CS and Math at University of Hong Kong, where I was lucky to have received guidance from and worked with (chronologically) Prof. Giulio Chiribella, Dr. Hlér Kristjánsson, Prof. Zhiyi Huang, and Prof. Shachar Lovett.

Especially, Prof. Giulio Chiribella and Dr. Hlér Kristjánsson introduced me to research (in quantum information), Prof. Zhiyi Huang introduced me to TCS, Prof. Shachar Lovett introduced me to Complexity theory.
